GALA HAT 2024: SYMPHONY NO. XIII

GALA HAT 2024 Musical: SYMPHONY NO. XIII is an artistic program featuring the participation of 180 students from across Hanoi, all of whom share a passion for the arts. Together, we create a visually stunning musical that blends dance, music, and acting.

Set in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in France, a period when classical music flourished with harmonious and melodious concerts, the storyline conveys messages of passion, ambition, and envy in life. The main characters of the play are two talented but unrecognized young musicians. During a composition session, a demon appears and offers them a magical contract that would make them the greatest musicians. Blinded by ambition, one of them sacrifices their friendship in exchange for reaching the pinnacle of fame. Looking back, that person realizes they have lost the core values of love and passion, and ultimately lost themselves. The sacrifices made for ambition and aspirations are gradually revealed, as mysterious twists unfold, leading the audience from one surprise to another.
